Prompt action forces a response from insurance company
"Following a road traffic accident a report of our client’s injuries was forwarded to the negligent driver's insurance company. They did not respond within the 21 day period allowed in the personal injury protocol despite being chased numerous times by telephone / fax / post. The insurance company continued to ignore my attempts at contact so I ended up having to write a formal letter of complaint to the insurance company giving them 7 days to respond or the matter would be referred to the Financial Services Ombudsman (FSO) or the General Insurance Standards Council (GISC).
