Writers Cramp

Writers cramp is a task-specific focal dystonia of the hand. Symptoms usually emerge when a person is trying to do a task that involves fine movements. Symptoms sometimes only occur whilst doing a particular type of movement, for example, writing. It is possible for the condition to spread to affect other tasks.

Writers cramp can be diagnosed based on the information from the affected person and by a neurological examination.

If you are suffering from writers cramp as a result of the negligence of an employer, our experienced personal injury team can help you claim compensation.

To find out how to make a claim for compensation, call Ashton Morton Slack on 0114 275 2888 and talk to one of our personal injury experts.
