4 July 2008
Ashton Morton Slack's highly respected Family and Children team has received a glowing review from the Legal Services Commission (LSC). The Commission looks after legal aid in England and Wales and regularly audits law firms to make sure they comply with the highest standards. The team at Ashton Morton Slack has not only passed its latest audit, it has received very positive feedback as well.
The LSC found that the team "demonstrated a high degree of competence" and singled out its local knowledge, and sensitivity in dealing with difficult cases, for particular praise.
"Passing the LSC audit, and receiving such positive feedback, is a great boost for the whole team," commented Ann Miller, Head of Family.
"Everyone works extremely hard to make sure every aspect of our work is of the highest quality. We deal with some highly sensitive cases and our clients are often experiencing very difficult personal circumstances. We feel that it's our responsibility to offer the best service we possibly can."
The team's expertise is also highlighted by the highly respected Legal 500 guide, where the team's work in the areas of domestic abuse and children matters receives particular praise.
