China rail crash tragedy

In the early hours of Sunday morning, two passenger trains in China collided, killing 66 people and causing injury to 400 people, 70 of which are critical.  

One of the trains was travelling from Beijing to Quingdao a holiday resort, therefore carrying a lot of tourists and foreign nationals.  Four of the critically injured have already been identified as being French.  

Azra Saddique of Ashton Morton Slack comments "Many peope may not realise that they are entitled to compensation however the The Package Travel Holidays and Package Tour Regulations 1992 defines package as the pre-arranged combination of at least two of the following components when sold or offered for sale at an inclusive price and when the service covers period of more than twenty four hours or includes overnight accomodation. And the regulations also cover transport."
