Kate attended the University of Leicester before moving back to her roots in South Yorkshire to complete her LPC at the University of Sheffield.
Kate joined Ashton Morton Slack in 2006 as a trainee solicitor and qualified in March 2008.
One of Kate's training seats was in Company Commercial where she showed her true potential, impressing both Partners and Clients with her knowledge of complex commercial issues.
On qualification. Kate joined the firm's Company Commercial Department where she has developed expertise in a wide range of areas which includes mergers and acquisitions, shareholder agreements, re-finance and intra group restructures. Kate also acts for a local Friendly Society advising on constitutional issues, particularly in the healthcare sector.
