Formation

When a company is formed there are various forms to be completed and decisions to be made. For a start, all companies must be registered and regulated at Companies House. All companies must have at least one Director and a Company Secretary (for a private limited company) and at least two Directors and a Company Secretary (for a public limited company). When setting up a company, there are many decisions which need serious consideration. You must be fully aware of the legal consequences of setting up as a company.

Here at Ashton Morton Slack we are fully experienced at setting up companies and can complete the forms and documents required to set up a company on your behalf. Every company currently requires the Memorandum and Articles of Association, which are the documents which govern the company. We can advise you on making the decisions from the company's name to the drafting of the company's Memorandum and Articles of Association.

It may also be the case that on incorporation the business requires commercial premises out of which to trade. Ashton Morton Slack's Commercial Property department can advise on matters from the purchase of a freehold commercial unit to the lease of an office.
