Directors' Responsibilities

As a Director of a company, no matter the size, you have legal and financial responsibilities.

Anyone can be appointed as Director as long as they are over 16 years, are not an undischarged bankrupt and have not been disqualified by the court from acting as a Director.

As a Director you have to carefully consider your actions. Here at Ashton Morton Slack we are able to provide expert legal advice as to the responsibilities you will have as a Director. This is an area due to change shortly following recent changes to the legislation governing the duties of Directors and it is therefore imperative that as a Director you understand the role.

If you are considering taking on the role of Director, please call Ashton Morton Slack to discuss the duties and responsibilities required of you.
