Transfer of business
When the ownership of the company you work for changes there should be no change to your employment. The Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations (known as 'TUPE') protects employees and provides that your employment rights automatically transfer over to your new employer so you carry on working as if nothing has changed.
If however, you believe the terms of your employment alter (a breach of contract) or your employment is terminated as a result of the change in ownership (which will usually be an automatic unfair dismissal) contact Ashton Morton Slack to discuss the options available to you.
We are happy to have an initial telephone discussion without charge on any matter. We aim to have a clear and flexible approach to funding options, therefore we can provide an outline of what the estimated cost may be at the outset. This allows you to assess at an early stage whether it is financially viable to pursue the matter. For more details on the funding options available please click here.
